chef soufflé’s café
Bonjour! My name is Chef Soufflé. I congratulate you on your good taste in visiting my website! My friend Miss Kristi and I arrived in France in May 2008 after traveling to many churches in the United States. I am so glad to be here at last and to finally taste the delicious French food once again.
I am nervous when Miss Kristi is the one driving, as you’ll see in this photo: Watch out, Miss Kristi!
If you would like to receive an autographed picture of myself, in order to remind you to pray for Miss Kristi, please send a letter to me at the following address:

Have you eaten any of these tasty French foods?
• Croissants: The crescent-shaped croissants in the picture are filled with meat and lettuce. Croissant means “crescent” in French.
• Fromages: Yummy cheeses like the white round cheese below. It is called Brie. There are over 400 different varieties of cheese in France! That means you could eat a different kind every day for over a year.
If you lived in France, this is what you might eat at each meal:
• Breakfast: bread with butter, jam, or honey; a bowl of coffee, milk, or hot chocolate
• Lunch: a sandwich and light dessert
• Dinner: Hors d’oeuvres (appetizers) or soup, meat or fish with vegetables; salad, cheese, perhaps dessert; and of course, several slices of French bread
